Youth of the Year Competition Reception at the Gallery

Sue Fazio’s Gallery was honored to host the Boys and Girls Club Annual Youth of the Year Competition Reception, welcoming a meaningful lunchtime gathering centered on inspiration, courage, and community.

The Youth of the Year program celebrates young people who exemplify leadership, service, and a commitment to their futures. This year’s candidates shared their stories with honesty and heart, reminding everyone in attendance of the power of perseverance and purpose. Each participant embodied what it means to be a Club kid, and all are clearly on paths toward meaningful and impactful futures.

The reception concluded with the announcement of this year’s Youth of the Year, who will advance to represent the club at the North Carolina State Competition.

Hosting this reception at the gallery was a meaningful way to celebrate the spirit of the Boys and Girls Club and the young leaders it continues to nurture, bringing together art, community, and opportunity in one shared space.
